After Blasting Past Tiger Woods on the All-Time PGA Career Earnings List. Scottie Scheffler Says He’s Ready Now to Take Down Mariano Rivera’s MLB Saves Record

After winning the 2026 Tour Championship at East Lake Country Club, Scheffler officially decimated Tiger Woods’ Career PGA Earnings Record. Scheffler has now earned $130,390,661. Woods held the number one spot  for 26 years at $120,999,166 with 82 victories to his credit. Had Woods played today, with 82 wins he’d be practically a trillionaire. But that is beside the point.

Scheffler having accomplished this incredible feat has now changed his perspective. “I’ve achieved all I can in this sport and it’s time for me to make moves. I want to take down Mariano Rivera’s MLB regular season saves record which currently stands at 652. The world is my oyster and I want more pearls, baby.”

It’s a bold statement. As a Yankee fan I am intrigued. Insiders say Yankees current closer Bednar, who is having a great year, just chuckled. “He’s welcome to meet me in the octagon.”

The gauntlet has been laid. Warriors in a battle of cajones.

This will be a very interesting off season. The reality is that records are meant to be broken.
