Greg Evans

Founder/Editor-in-Chief

I began my journalism career writing for an expatriate English-language community newspaper based in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, The Mazatlan Messenger. Over the years I have written for and contributed to numerous newspapers and magazines including The Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Tennessean, the Bristol Herald Courier, the Mooresville Tribune, the Statesville Record & Landmark, The Guadalajara Reporter, the Lake Norman Citizen, the Sentinel-Progress, The Mazatlan Post, The Mexico Daily Post, the Oaxaca Times, G&E Magazine, UK History Magazine, Cortland Gazette, and several others.

I have also published a minimum of 99 maxims that have been widely used by people and companies from at least 70 countries.

Little fun fact: I was included in Randy Howe’s book, 1001 Smartest Things Teachers Ever Said, pg. 92. I have never been a teacher but I appreciate my maxim being included.

I also wrote the trivia questions for the big screen during New York Knicks home games at Madison Square Garden circa 2000-2001.

I am a graduate of NYU & ETSU (East Tennessee State University). I also did one semester of graduate school at St. Bonaventure University in the Digital Journalism program.
