The Time-Traveler UFO Hypothesis

This theorem is a proposal that UFOs and their occupants are actually humans from the future, who are traveling back in time.

Let's take a trip down this rabbit hole and begin with possible motivating factors for their return. They may be highly interested in obtaining our current DNA, blood, organs, etc for their survival or genetic developments. We’d assume alien tastes wouldn’t be far off our own when it comes to collecting the “right DNA.” Would they really want some random person or someone like Laeticia Casta, Aaron Judge, Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Michael Jordan, or even Jesus. We’d assume they’d select the cream of the crop in selected fields or in Casta’s case, flawless beauty.

This could surely explain away some of the missing persons cases in national parks or those missing people reported during natural disasters. Some could argue why are they so surreptitious? They’d have to be so that humans didn’t try to combat them and prevent their exploration now, therefore rendering them incapable doing so in their future time. How exactly that would work is hard to wrap the old brain around. If we got scared and stopped them from coming here then they never would have come here in the first place. It makes for a good rainy day mystery.

They could also be coming back for the purpose of gathering animals or additional animal parts for cloning or research purposes like how to make the perfect filet mignon, a highly-prized cut from a creature since extinct in their time. This would account for cattle mutilation and missing cattle stolen from ranchers property or farms across the United States.

In other circumstances they could just simply be trying to discreetly communicate with us without directly interfering and alarming us. This to me would make sense, for example, the abstruseness of the crop circle. The concept of the crop circle, however, is wholly baffling. If they are so advanced to be able to come here traveling through portals or jumping dimensions, can they not come up with a more succinct means of communication, like say, Sanskrit tablets miraculously discovered in a cave? Could that explain cave drawings? The extraterrestrials realized 35,000 years ago that they had to lay it out as straight-forward as possible, otherwise the highly intelligent and curious humans would invent completely off-the-wall theories and scenarios to explain the unexplainable.

Another motivating factor, for returning to a specific period in time, is to alter a particular course of their history by intervening. An example to support this could be the alleged reports of UFOs over military bases where nuclear warheads were mysteriously deactivated or disarmed. Another type of intervention may be the alleged reports of test missiles being fired, then suddenly, laser type weapons from a nearby UFO miraculously dismantle or deactivate the missiles during mid-air flight.

We clearly have the capability of destroying the planet and each other. Time-travelers would surely have a vested interest in the direction of the human race along with the survival of this planet. If they are future humans, maybe they want us to re-think our repeated trips of violence that inevitably led them to their current state.

Some argue, if there are aliens, or time travelers from the future, why then hasn’t NASA’s powerful James Webb Telescope picked anything definitive up in the skies. They supposedly located a galaxy at “the edge of time,” that astronomers claim shouldn’t exist. A counter argument to that could be that aliens or time-travelers from the future use dimensions or energy portals to travel across vast spectrums of time. Or, the telescope has seen things and it has simply been buried.

Lately, as of May 2025, there have been numerous sightings of not UFOs per say, but UAPs, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, occurring near the southern border in Arizona.

It isn’t just visual sightings either, a United States military aircraft, the F-16 Viper, was damaged when an UAP struck its perspex canopy grounding the plane for repairs. Hopefully nobody from the future was injured in the collision.

Until we figure out how to gaze into or even access different dimensions, we are just chasing our tails in trying to catch up with time travelers.
