Ohio State Bans Barstool Sports Founder, Dave Portnoy, from Entering the Shoe
By Greg Evans
Do we all say in unison, “weak sauce”? Banning Portnoy from The Shoe is such a weird and flakey move. I’m a Notre Dame and ETSU fan; I don’t care about Michigan, Ohio state, Texas or anyone else, except for maybe Army since I grew up next to West Point, but if fans of some other team waxed dirty powtic about my colors I say, “Nuts!” Banning someone because they hurt your feelings is preposterous. It’s embarrassing even. Ohio State fans should be horrified. They should even contemplate transitioning their loyalty to a team that doesn’t get their jock strap in a twist over being picked in a bit in the press. What I want to know, is what nerd in the Buckeyes front office allowed that to take place?
Were they afraid he was going to give their pizza a bad review? Make good pizza then. Sports has always brought out the mania in people, especially fanatic fans. I’m fanatic too but I wouldn’t ban a USC fan from Notre Dame stadium. I may give them a blast from a cattle prod but at least they can recover by the second quarter and watch the game. No hard feelings. Get over it.
FOX Sports should have added him to the booth for live coverage. It would have been awesome. He says funny things. Tell the Shoe to “go stick it their your shoe.” Whatever. Stupid. That line was as stupid as the geeks and their effeminate bans. Notre Dame would beat either one of these teams, Miami first.
